was either

a) a very nice, sweet person but became a very rude, nasty person

OR

b) a very bitter, mean, unfriendly person who became a sweet, nice person

What's your story with that person? Was it for no reason or from a traumatic event?

Yes...both are my brothers.

a) My younger brother. He used to be ok and I used to have fun with him but now (he is in the 11th grade and I'm in the 12th grade) he is just distant. He doesn't tell me things anymore and I hardly see him coz he is always out. Even when he is at home he always stays in his room. I also know that he does things he shouldn't be doing and I don't know why he does them. We were both raised the same way with the same parents. I turned out okay...why didn't he?

b)My older brother...when he was younger he was really mean to me and ignored me and never spent time with me (there is a 5 year difference between us). However now he is like my best friend...he always makes me laugh and he is so nice now...he includes me when he goes out and he surprises me with the things I love on my birthday...he grew up to be a great person...he is very kind and funny...He is not rude and mean like he was in high school...he is now in his last year of university and doing great...He is the best brother I could ever ask for.

I dont think this exactly fits the criteria..but I recently had someone who I considered to be my best friend who just stopped talking to me..she kind of tapered down at first but then it was nothing..the last email I received from her was on Oct 17th..I started sending just casual emails here and there..and finally just sent her a message telling her that she was a very good friend to me during a very difficult time and if she needs me, I'll be here. Very very strange ...I dunno what it is - I can't think of anything I did..other than being super self involved for awhile with a breakup...but she didn't start to disappear til way after that...so I'm just trying to think that maybe this has nothing to do with me..but something in her own life..trying of course..not working very well. hrmph..what can you do.

yea, I had a girl who I went to the bar with, offered to pay for my cab, bought me drinks and food. Then she back stabbed me a few weeks later. And as for B. There was this girl in HS she hated me with a passion but I continued to be nice to her and she and I actually became good friends.

I am one of the nicest people I know, until someone does something to cross me. I can then be the meanest, nastiest person you ever laid eyes on. I learned that people will mistreat you and abuse you if you let them. Sometimes it just does not pay to be the nice person.

i met this person... she was really nice but behind that mask is a real bad girl. i can still remember how she ruined my name on people. she backstabbed me a lot of times.

as for the second one....
lol i remember being called as "the meanest girl ever"... it's all caps btw. but the person who called me that, whom hated me for a long time is now one of my close friends. right now whenever she has someone on her "hate list", she puts into mind that maybe that person can also be her friend.... just like how we are now.
