That isnt even in question. Leftwich is not good, Garrard is a pro bowler (maybe not in reality but IMO he has deserved it more than Manning).
Garrard: 102.2 QB rating, 64% completion, 209 ypg, 18 TD's, just 3 INT's. This is really just Garrards 2nd real shot at starting in the NFL (last season did ok) and he has only started 12 games.
Leftwich's best numbers: 89.3 QB rating (05), 60.5% completion (04), 210 ypg (04), 15 TD's (04/05), and 5 INT's (05 - only 11 games).
Its an easy choice, Leftwich is done in the NFL. He can make a viable backup but he was not a starter by any means.

yes. its apparently so seeing as how the jags are 11-4, clinched a playoff spot, and will probably be the team to upset the mighty patriots. leftwich was and is highly overrated. he hasn't done a thing in atlanta, and really didn't do a whole lot while at jacksonville. garrard is younger, more mobile, has a more accurate arm and is apparently smarter than people give him credit. yes jacksonville did the right thing in getting rid of leftwich and keeping garrard. oh and i hate the jags.

Obviously, yes. Leftwich isn't playing, another injury, and when he did play he played awful. Garrard is leading his team strongly into the playoffs.

Fo Sho Sho!!!
Garrad n the Jags r soooo under rated it aint even funny... ppl r to focused on "the path to perfection" not even realizing that path will come to an end for NE if they face Jax in the AFC Championship...

Yes, to add to what has been said already, I've seen reports that he has a slow release.
