Someone told me at work that it was a bad trade and that he was washed up. i told him that Randy should have a decent year. ( i figured about 1000 yards and a half dozen touch downs).

I have to admit I had my doubts. I thought that his time in Oakland was a waste and I believed that his lack of determination and will on the field would carry over to the patriots. i thought that it might have been his age was finally catching up with him but i guess i was wrong. It was just him demonstrating to the world that he's only as much of a playmaker as his QB.

He suprised em by doig all the right things. He had it so easy in Minnesota...then the raider nightmare....he probably realised that he needed to get back on a top quality team. Al Davis is still looking for a QB like Stabler and all the while has let his defense suffer while handcuffing his coaches!

The better question is whether or not there is anyone who was not surprised about what Randy has done this year. I, for one, am quite proud of Mr. Moss for taking attention from one rather annoying wideout who plays on that team with the star on their helmets.

I'm not surprised at all. Moss didn't want to be in Oakland, so he played like crap to get out of there. He got traded, he's on a good team so he's keeping his mouth shut and actually making an effort to make catches. That is why I hate when people compare him to Jerry Rice--he had class.

I was somewhat surprised.

However, once he got back on a roll I am not surprised that he elevated another pretty average quarterback to wildly overrated status like he did with Culpepper.

The man has talent. No doubt about it. However, I can't stand anyone with as bad an attitude as his. He should return every paycheck drawn at Oakland.

He surprised me and he didn't. I believed him when he said he wasn't trying in Oakland. I never thought he lost a step, I just thought Oakland was really bad. I figured he'd have about 900 yards and 7 - 8 touchdowns in New England.

But 21 touchdowns? I didn't think he'd be THAT good.

I'm not surprised, just disappointed. Players that try hard only when winning are losers as far as i'm concerned. Moss really let down the Raiders and the Raider fans.

It didn't surprise me. When he was in college I thought he was the best wide receiver ever. If he stays healthy he may challenge Rice's all time NFL career records.
I remember watching Walter Payton and thinking several players would surpass his mark but they never did.

Moss has mad skill, superior speed, quickness, jumping ability and coordination.

I'm surprised, but I think it took a great coach & a great QB to bring out his full potential.

I am NOT suprised at all. Randy Moss is probably the best receiver in the NFL right now. I am a HUGE pats fan.
