I go to UCLA and I averaged a 4.00 in my freshmen and sophomore years, respectively. My first quarter of junior year (the one that just passed), I averaged a 3.9. I'll probably end up with that sort of GPA by the time I graduate.

With such a high GPA, what do I need to get on the LSAT to get into a prestigious law school such as Berkley, UCLA...etc?

You surely do not need a 175 or higher to get into CAL with that GPA from such a good school. If you score above average for CAL, which I believe is 166, then you will probably get in.

Just because you have a great GPA doesn't mean your LSAT score can be any lower--your GPA won't make up for it!
The highest score you can get is a 180--and you CAN retake it, but each score is averaged.
To get into a very good law school, you must get over a 175--the closer to 180 the better.

Your GPA will pose no problems for you. The link below shows that the average LSAT score for students accepted to Berkeley ranges between 161-165. Yale and Harvard are around 172-173. Stanford is about 169.

Eh, with your GPA, the LSATs won't be much of a challenge for you.
