I've watched both, and I can't determine whether it is the continuation of Card Captor Sakura. Sakura is still the same but I think in Card CAptor SAkura, the boy's name is Lee. In the other, Tsubasa Chronicles, The boy's name is Syaoran. Is he the same person? Yukito, Toya and Tomoyo is there at Tsubasa Chronicles too. Can anybody help me? I'd also like to know where you got the source. Thanks.

no. they use the same characters but in an entirely different universe. though the characters have similar personalities, the only thing they have in common is their names. basically, the people that made the series, CLAMP, is kind of doing like a homage to the fans of cardcaptor sakura by using the same characters for tsubasa. lee was the american version when they dubbed him, syaoran is the japanese version, so its the "official name"

They are actually connected in a strange way. The CCS universe has already made contact with the Tsubasa world in the manga. CCS Sakura gave her staff to Tsubasa's princess clone. That was probably an event that occurred when CCS Sakura started using the key instead.

Well, Tsubasa Chronicles and Cardcaptor Sakura are more like the Kingdom Hearts games and the Final Fantasy games.

The Kingdom Hearts games are games where the Final Fantasy characters and the Disney characters participated in one single unified story, it's not a direct sequel to any of the previous stories.

Tsubasa Chronicles is a story where various CLAMP characters from various CLAMP stories participated in one single unified story, it's not a direct sequel to any of the previous stories.

Since Card Captor Sakura is a CLAMP story, and a famous recent one too, some of its characters become regular characters in Tsubasa Chronicles.

In Card Captor Sakura, Lee's full name is "Lee Syaoran", "Syaoran" is Lee's personal name while "Lee" is Lee's family name/surname. A big development in the Card Captor Sakura story is when Sakura and Lee's call each other by their personal names, to indicate their closeness with each other.

In Tsubasa Chronicles, since both Sakura and Syaoran are already very close at the beginning of the story, they call each other by their personal names in the beginning of the story. I forgot if the family name of Tsubasa Chronicles' Syaoran is still "Lee" like the Card Captor Sakura's Syaoran.

In Tsubasa Chronicles, Fujitaka is Syaoran's father and not Sakura's, while Clow is Sakura's father and not Sakura's magic mentor. Though like their Card Captor Sakura counterparts, both Fujitaka and Syaoran are still very interested in archaelogy.

Tomoyo certainly don't appear as much as she did in Card Captor Sakura, based on my lack of interest in Tsubasa Chronicles.

In Cardcaptor Sakura, the boy's name is Lee Syaoran, or Syaoran Lee. CLAMP, the creators of both series of manga, likes to connect their stories with alternate universes, for instance, the characters mentioned in your question are not the same people, but share many of the same characteristics, parallel family members, and magic powers. If you were to read xxxHolic, a manga that specifically connects to Tsubasa and other universes created by CLAMP, you would hear the witch that appeared in the beginning of Tsubasa, Yuuko, state that there are many worlds, and many "versions" of people. You will note that in vol. 2 chap. 6 of the manga has Yukito (Yuki) and Toya working at a fast food restaurant together. Much of these three stories are connected by the stories of the Magician Clow Reed, and the various members of the Reed bloodline, Syaoran and Sakura included.

They are the same person but with different personalities. It is not a really a continuation of CCsakura. In Tsubasa, they are the older versions of their characters in CCsakura.
Syaoran Li are the same person and I think you are confused in that part maybe because you didn't know his full name.
