I think it might be that the weather down here in Texas is absolute crap at the moment. It isn't Christmas if I can wear shorts outside!

Momof2inLa: I'm really sorry to hear that your holiday seems to be a bit of a downer. I hope that in spite of all that is happening, you still have a Merry Christmas yourself. I know that it's all for Jesus. I am usually more into it though.

Well, I was until parts of my family disowned me a few days ago, then sent me this bday present and CHRISTmas presents for the kids.

Now, I could truly care less about all of it, but for my kids, I am really trying!!

I know it's for Jesus, so I am gonna be in the spirit, reguardless of how they want to be, Jesus is still family for me and my kids as well!

I'm in California and not in the x-mas mood. I'm just kinda waiting for everything to happen and be done with, get back to normal lives. It's nice being able to see family and friends that aren't always around, but at the same time it feels so tedious to switch life up just for a holiday. I'm in the bay area and it's cold here!!! It's clear and really cold and I'm used to it being cloudy and kinda drizzly for xmas. Thank god i'm not the only who isn't in the spirit this year.

Yea same here in Alabama I find myself wearing short sleeves, shorts, and sandals. One day it is cold next day it's like 90 degrees outside. I hate the weather down here.
