Zeke Wood is very blunt but surprisingly a strong name when said out loud. I would officially make it Ezekiel Wood but call him Zeke for short.

Its certainly going to stand out amongst all the boring named children in his class! I like it!

Zeke Wood does not sound good together. Zeke sounds to much like Geek. Plus, the name Zeke Wood, sounds like it is the name of some speices of tree, not a boy. Maybe stick with more regualr names.

No. Two one-syllable names sounds very harsh.

The "z", "k", and "d" are very strong consonants. The "w" is a softer consonant. If the last name is Wood, the most harmonic first name would be a 3-syllable name ... something like "Gregory" ... or "Anthony" with the accent on the first syllable.
