You could try with the guy sitting on your shoulders but a fireman's carry would be the easiest as long as he doesn't struggle.

I would use fireman carriage, but learn the correct lift before attempting.

i guess you could give both a try and see which is more comfortable/easier. the choice will probably vary between people.
