my fish is alive,and its kind of fat,but the problem is that it keeps floating to the top.
should i be worried?

You should specify the type of fish you have - that could help to answer your questions. You can add to an existing question by using the pencil icon under the question to "add details".

But if your fish is floating to the top, it sounds like it has more of a problem with constipation/swim bladder disorder. The swim bladder is an air-filled organ that helps your fish maintain it's balance. If there's too much air, it floats, and if there's too little, it sinks. It can still swim, but it has a hard time doing it, so it usually just floats or sinks to conserve its energy.

If your fish is eating, try giving it a piece of a pea. This can be a frozen one, just be sure to thaw it out first, and if your fish is small, remove the skin and mash it between your fingers.
