I love my in-laws. I am learning chinese so I can communicate better with my mother in law since she doesn't speak english like others. I love 'em all!

Though its sad to say (but it seems to be the "norm" these days) I don't get along with my mother in law at all. My father in law, on the other hand.. LOVES me, and treats me like I was one of his own children (he has 3 boys..no daughter, so I'm assuming that is the reason.)
I haven't actually spoken to my mother-in-law since my wedding 5 years ago, when she got extremely drunk and cursed me out in front of 150+ other guests. She called me every name in the book, and some b.s. about "you're stealing my little boy away from me!!!" (anyone else had this happen??) The fiasco ended with her ripping my veil out of my hair, spitting on me and calling me (for the 100th time that day) a "f-ucking tramp." What I did to deserve this treatment, I'll never know. I was never anything but nice to her.
Oh well..at least my father-in-law and my two-brother-in-laws back me up on this. Christmas Dinner should be *ahem* INTERESTING this year (as it always is), but as long as I'm in the company of people that accept/love me..and am able to watch my children unwrap their gifts without her snide comments..I'll be able to ignore her presence without a problem.

I have none. I do like my ex mother in law although she could really grind on my nerves she has a heart of gold. My father in law on the other hand was a male chauvanistic pig

If we are being honest,It could be worse,my mother-in-law is a nurse and a mother of 4 childern(I'm married to her oldest son)she thinks she knows it ALL!!! my step-father-in-law is a REAL A$$HOLE!!! I only tolerate him cause I married into the family.My sister's-in-laws are okay alittle, to prissy&girlie for me but they live in Iowa and I live in Texas so we don't chat much and my brothers-in-laws they are okay too for guys.But for my situation it could be worse and with what I have I can tolerate them...Shout Out from Texas!!!

I don't have any but my married sister likes her in-laws and the rest of my family like them as well, they are great people.

I, unfortunately, do not have any in-laws any more. They died when they were 64 (mother -in-law) and 69 (father-in-law) respectively.
I got lucky with my in-laws in that they treated me very well and had a lot of respect for me and me for them.
I miss them for the most part - like everyone we had our disagreements.
