That would be world war two, and Hitler sent out hundreds of geologists around the world to 'uncover' ancient artifacts to 'prove' that the aryan race was superior. They went out to Tibet and places close to that mostly.

clarify your question. i heard some news that spear of God is just a belief of hitler that it exists. i have watched the movie constantine, movie about some exorcism or something that featured a spear similar to the spear of God. (maybe) it gives supreme power to the one who finds it. that's what i heard of that spear. but i don't believe on that spear. don't mind it.
