Not necessarily while you're not at home unless you know its something you know they like...otherwise you're likely to irritate them.

I've found that they like music but they are part and partial depending on the vibration...there is no one particular "type" and not even all the same songs from the same album would be appealing necessarily.

Next time you're listening to music try shifting your thought a bit and asking your spirits if they like the music...and try a few different types; I suggest some that contain higher pitches mixed in.

If you get the whole goose-bumpy thing on your skin take that as a 'yes' to that particular song.

I never thought about this. I think this is an excellent question. (Hope I remember to give you a star.) I've left music or the tv on for my dogs...and I've left the tv on so people would think someone is at home...but I never thought about this. I do know that in certain church services the music seems to draw us closer to God...or maybe it's angels touching us..or spirits..or deceased loved ones. Of course "Muses" love music. But, do you want spirits in your house? I think I'd go the other direction...make sure there ISN'T any music playing. Or, at least put on music that you think bad spirits wouldn't like so they wouldn't hang around. Someone said.."Music calms the savage beast." Hope you get some good answers on this. However....years ago I had Christian music playing almost all the time in my place...and really bad things happened. Now I'm confused! Gotta say IDK.
EDIT....T.R.....Since the Holy Spirit is a spirit...and I guess the angels are too...wonder how they hear our prayers and cries for help . Does this mean God doesn't hear our songs/prayers to HIM?? I think there must be such a thing as "Spiritual Ears"!!

There's no definitive evidence to that effect. There is no compelling evidence for the existence of ghosts either. However, theoretically, if spirits do exist and are just dead people, then they would like all the same things they did when they were alive. Why not? They're just people. Make sense?

Good question. Supposing that spirits exist, though. But how would they hear the music? We hear music because the spherical pressure waves impinge on our ear drums and cause the malleus, incus and stapes to vibrate, which then is conducted into the cochlear fluids. Ghosts, being non-physical beings, don't have any such ear structures. So why do we think that they can hear us at all?

of course , some just like some people don't listen to music at all..... "because spirits were people too!" and since they're dead wouldn't they have a personality like one of us? I mean depending on the spirit some might like rock others country it just depends on their tastes im not trying to be funny or corney this my opinion :)

I guess, there are probably some orbs floating around with the dust, so if you really want to be nice, dont dust your house. You might be killing orbs which of course are the spirits of millions of people who have died in the past.
Even though real studies show household dust to be mostly shed human skin, ghosts is the explanation that paranormal investigators like to give for dust.

There's a bit spirit coming to your place soon. Make sure you got some music on and leave him some cookies and milk!

Hello

Music can raise spiritual vibrations & enhances mood.

Playing music for spirit is not neccesary, they make their own entertainment i'm sure. Any energies of importance will be with you - therefore not at home alone.

Yes, but I wouldn't play it all the time because it may make them upset because they cannot hear in the same pitches as they could when they were alive.
