okay. i have the disk to the sims 2 holiday edition game. but i lost my serial code so i cant play it. Is there anyway i can get a different serial code for it or do anything so i can play the game

If you've already registered the game, you can retrieve your serial number from EA Games' website.
Just log into the site (under EA Nation) using the login you used when you registered your game. Once you're logged in, go to "my account", then "games I own". Every EA Game you registered under that name will show up with their serial numbers.
OR, you can contact EA Games and request a new serial number, but you'll be charged a $10 fee for that.
Those are the only ways you can get a serial number unless you buy the game again.

I would suggest just buying another serial from EA
It is perfectly legal to buy only the serial, and it's MUCH cheaper than actually buying the whole game again.
