Why is my friend acting so messed up?

Whats with my friend's recent attitude?
So me and this girl have been freinds for like 7 years and we never liked one another just friend thing. After I broke up with my ex she really helped me get over her. Last week we went out along with another couple of friends and I guess I had feelings for her at that night and I flirted a bit and we looked at each other a lot. After that day everything feels different now when i speak to her online. She seems more cold and even now after i got over her she seems to one word answers and not even want to converse really anymore. I asked her if she wanted to go out and chill cuz i was gonna head out anyway she said no thanks i ahve work next day which is normal. Then I ask her if there is anything i did lately to piss her off she said no silly. Then just said bye...i dunno is it just me.. and I KNOW for sure she doesn't like me that way and has a bf too.

how can i fix this?

afraid if u hang out.. u could get her bf..

It probably was awkward. I would not flirt with her at all unless she initiates it. She has a boyfriend anyway... she possibly could be confused about her feelings for you. Maybe there is a slight attraction, but she doesn't want to follow up on it. Or maybe she just doesn't like you in that way at all and she got a little caught up "in the moment" by flirting a little with you. Either way, she should get over it soon. I woudln't worry. Just be her friend!

she's probably scared that you might like her and she doesn't want you too, she might not want to jeopardize your friendship by leading you on. that may be why shes giving you one word answers.
