Los Angeles has had two shots at having a NFL team and they blew it twice. Plus the Packers are the only remnant from the times when small town teams dominated the league. Remember that the team is owned by a community which is rarely found in professional sports and is the sole reason for their existence. Green Bay also has a large and loyal fan base spread all around the country but is mostly based in the Midwest.
Good point there COWBOYS SUCK.

Green Bay has a huge fan base. A very loyal fan base. The fans own the team. The team plays for the fans. It's that simple. Now you know why "los angeles don't".
Sorry!

funny thing is, they seem to sell out stadiums with those 100,000 people. Packers have fans throughout Wisconsin for one which has about 6 mill. people in population. not to mention, the packers are pretty big in Japan.
And LA did have a team. they were known as the Raiders before the relocated. Do i need to say more?

LA had the Rams for many years, but their attendance was poor in spite of having a team with a good record, then the Raiders moved in and they didn't do to good either,LA will support college football but not the pros, also the soccer teams from mexico have invaded that area

the answers are politics, money & power disputes...the city, the NFL and every other party that gets involved cannot seem to compromise on anything...it isn't the fans' lack of loyalty, jethro- part of the reason L.A teams have excelled in every sport on every level is because we do have great fan support...just look at footage of the countless championships that have been won here and the fan reaction- are you kidding me? we've done everything from flood fields & courts to throw raucous riots...the Raiders consistently had good attendance- Al Davis didn't wanna play in the Coliseum anymore is the main reason they left...I respect Green Bay & its organization but I do get tired of bitter, jealous west-coast hating fans and media types (from all over) who don't know what they're talking about...

These 100,000 people in Greenbay are die-hard and dedicate football fans.. in Los Angeles, people don't care that much about sports really... I mean we have Lakers, Kings, Dodgers, USC football Well, Clippers, FUCLA, Angels don't count.. Clippers are just a minor league compared to Lakers, FUCLA is well ...just a bad football team, and Angels are more like the OC(Orange County) team.., but most people don't give a **** about it..cause we have lots of more thing to worry about here really..

Because with all those people, they can't keep people in the seats.....that says alot about loyalty to ANYTHING in Cali. It's all about the exposure......not actually having a team that's yours....
Most of the LA people wouldn't understand what it's like to be a lifelong fan of anything unless they were raised into it ...like some Raider or 49er fans, but alas, not enough to fill the seats in LA.
I wish I could explain to you what it's like, but you really have to be one to realize it.

Because California already has three teams!
New York also has three teams...and NYC doesn't need two....having two teams in the same city depletes the fan base for both teams!

L.A. didn't support their team last time they had one, Green Bay sells out every game, every year. Simple.
