IE6 problems after installing updates, anyone else?

After installing the latest windows updates (December 13th I believe) my Internet Explorer 6 won't load. I get the must shut down window with urlmon.dll being the problem, I have installed IE 7 until I can get this figured out.

I also found this to be the case with my moms computer but I was able to do a system restore on hers. I could do that with mine if my system restore worked.

I am using a Dell XPS 400, XP Pro, service pack 2

Yes, it is common. It was all over the web tech sites yesterday.

Be patient, Microsoft will fix it in time.
