Dear, 50% of the couples who try to get pregnant do not succeed in the first year. And this means people who don't use condoms, and try to do it in the most 'fertile' moment of the cyclus.
You use a condom .. this is a contraceptive .. you are supposed to NEVER get pregnant using condoms, but indeed there is a small risk (breakage, wrong useage) where the condom is not effective.
When the condom is not effective because it breaks or whatever reason, it doesn't mean you get pregnant on the spot! it means you are at that moment more or less exposed to the "normal" risk of getting pregnant, which is relatively low.
I think what you describe absolutely says nothing about you or your partner's fertility.

There are expiry dates on condoms, identical to for milk...they do pass unhealthy, or a minimum of, rather less powerful. The most important motive for it's that if there's a spermicide or some thing equivalent within the condom, the chemical compounds used to make it'll start to collapse the latex...making it pretty much not anything greater than a tube formed paper towel... I could almost always get a scan performed, simply in case...if you're, congratulations on Baby #two!

There is no such thing as "holds it in well" just so you know. I doubt that you are infertile. It is possible that your husband just doesn't have any sperm mixed into his pre-ejaculate that all men release, that he hasn't released his pre-ejaculate yet by the time that you two pull out and put on a condom, and/or it is possible that HE, not you, is the one with fertility problems. Just stop freaking yourself out about it because stress will lower your fertility. When you are ready to have more children give it the old college try and if nothing happens after say 6 months then go to a doctor.

I think that the percentage of effectiveness does include instances where people use them wrong or they break. I wouldn't worry about infertility issues until you start trying, and even then only after about six months of actual, um, effort. If you are really concerned you might consider seeing a doctor for a few tests to put your mind at ease. Stress can cause infertility, so easing your mind is a good thing.

You have your figures wrong.
"With proper knowledge and application technique—and use at every act of intercourse—users of male condoms experience a 2% per-year pregnancy rate"
Which means that they are 98 percent effective in preventing pregnancy.
You are definitely over thinking it.

If you want to get pregnant why would you use condoms?
I don't think you are infertile, I think the condoms are just doing their job.
