If i have a raised fret on my guitar, can i fix it by hammering it down. or should i just take it to the guitar shop, again.

Take it to the shop again. Hammering can cause internal cracks in the neck or even damage the truss rod.

I wouldnt dare take a hammer to my guitar without knowing exactly what to do.
Take it to the shop.

I recommend a sludge hammer. I took guitar lessons from Jimi Hendrix.

you can try to beat it in but you run the risk of changing the profile of the fret in relationship to others and at the point of impact for that string. better to take it to someone who is a legitimate luthier that does repairs than taking it to someone who just sells them. replacing frets is easy with the right tools.
