I'm assuming that you want to compare current military mentality.

McCain & Hunter will continue indefinately with un-win-able wars, and maybe attack Iran for no honest reason.

Paul, on the other hand will end all un necessary wars, as soon as possible, will not provoke other countries into war, will try his best to bring American troops home from overseas bases, to protect American homelands, will try to stop un-necessary military spending......and may just re-instate the state by state militia, where gun safety is taught at an early age at the local level.

Ron Paul has some extreme views like wanting to abolish the IRS and not replace it with anything. So how will we pay for federal law enforcement or safety or highways or schools if we do that? John McCain was in favor of a sort of amnesty for illegal aliens here now. amnesty would not be best since there is a line to get into that many people are waiting in for citizenship now so to speak. Duncan Hunter helped draft the legislation that put up the existing double border fence by the California/Mexico border and also drafted it for the rest of the southwesten states along the border and is against amnesty for illegals. Also Duncan Hunter wants to have a mirror trading policy with other countries where the U.S. would charge rates just like other countries do to us to even the market and help bring more manufacturing jobs home which none of the other canidates address.

AN ARDENT DESIRE FOR CHANGE
is behind this groundswell of support. History is being written here and American politics are changing forever.

Why I Support Ron Paul
Some people believe that Ron Paul is just an Internet fad, backed by spammers and young people on the Internet who have no real grasp on the issues. I can understand why some people think that -- that's what I thought for a long time.

I continued hearing more and more about Ron Paul from friends, so one day last month I decided to take a close look at him and all the other candidates. I have been supporting most of my adult life mostly because of their stand on social issues which arle closte to the issues when comparing to my views and principals. After looking at Ron Paul, I was shocked at what I found, and have never looked back since.

First, I think we need out of the war NOW. Second, I think the goverment is way to involved with our personal lives and I want them out NOW. What I want is CHANGE. Change is something people of this election cycle want, and Change is something that will set apart a candidate from all the others.

Ron Paul is honest not a sell out and a liar. I believe Ron Paul means change.

You can learn more about his view on the issues at: http://www.ronpaul2008.com

Ron Paul is for personal freedom, small government, strong defense, no offense, you earn your money and do whatever you want with it, you're smarter than government.

John McCain like Ron Paul is opposed to torture, other than that he's a really nice tyrant like Huckabee and G W Bush.

Duncan Hunter is Bush's comma. As far as his stand I just keep hearing him gay bash. His weekly email newletter is pretty pathetic and shocking.

They're very different. McCain and Hunter are pro-war, Ron Paul is not. McCain was one of the Keating 5, Ron Paul is known for his integrity and strong morality. Hunter is very much pro-life. Hunter voted YES on making the PATRIOT Act permanent. He's known for an anti-civil rights voting record. He wants to attack Iran's make believe nukes.
Can you guess who my candidate is?

Edit: Planetk's on crack. Ron Paul strongly opposes the NAU.

Refresh your understanding of the Constitution and Bill of Rights and you will know the differences in all the candidates.

It seems that RP is the only candidate (rep or dem) who has read, understands, and supports the document as the way we are to be governed.

Ron Paul's sevice during the Revolutionary War, War of 1812 and Civil War is of no concern to me. Different time.

Ron Paul - The guy is a nutjob. Strongly opposes the war, will lower taxes, will not spend money on jails, or fences, but will spend money on a secret hershey highway uniting canada, US and Mexico into one giant super country.

John McCain - strong on borders, against gay marriage, firm on the war, opposes abortion, pro health care reform. strong candidate - -just weak on presentation. Not a leader.

Duncan Hunter - does it matter? he doent have a shot.

Not one thing, they are all too old for the office of president, and that is a similarity as well as neither of them have a shot at winning in the primary and will not be on the ballot in November.
