this is a stupid question, but does the wireless les paul guitar for the wii need batteries and what kind?

No it is all connected to the Wiimote and uses it battery. You stick the Wiimote in the guitar and play away

ummmmmm first off i dont think it does cuz the wii mote plugs into the guitar but go to the guitar hero III website its rob there or look at it in the store.
