Some conflicting info here. The usual background check that is run is the state level (BCI) check. That would show an FTA ( Failure to Appear). If the employer runs a national check (NCIS), that would show felony convictions ONLY. Most employers dont use the NCIS because of the cost. BCI is usually about $18 where the NCIS runs $69. The FTA in itself is not too damaging. You said you paid a fine, so it was a misdemeanor. The problem might arise from the bench warrent that was placed upon you when the FTA became active. The best advice I could offer is to contact personnel at the hospital and explain what happened. For most misdemeanors, employers are a little more lenient when you are honest about a mistake. Good luck and I hope this helps you.

So you failed to appear, were arrested, went to Court and the case was dismissed? That would be the only possible sequence of events. If your case was dismissed, it will not be on your record as a criminal conviction. The failure to appear warrant enables the Court to maintain jurisdiction over the case and is a mechanism to get you to Court when you don't appear on your own. The failure to appear is not an additional charge (although it can be) or new case and will not be separate from your dismissed case. Long story short, it is not going to be counted as a criminal conviction.

The absolutely free reverse phone lookup sites generally provide the most basic of information such as name and it works only for landlines. To get further information, money will have to be paid. The free searches do not provide much more than what can be found through the phone book or personal knowledge and they only want your email to send spam.
Stay away from shady reverse phone lookup sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse phone lookup site like http://unlimitedchecks.net/everify-241.html that has been around since 1999.
If I recall correctly they have two options:
1. Get only one report.
2. Get unlimited reports. I went with this option because I wanted to verify more numbers. This is how I caught my girlfriend cheating, I got the name, other phone number, address history, relatives, and criminal-court records.

It shouldn't. Criminal background checks are usually searching for convictions. A warrant to appear is not a conviction and should not be part of any public record.
No worries!

I just tried https://webmd.im/verispy last year to see if I could Locate my birth-father. My bio father left me when I was 7, and has refused to be a part of my life since. I grew up with my bio Mother and Step-father. I have only ever talked to my biological father a couple times until now. All I knew of him personally when I conducted the search was his first name, last name, and the street address of a previous address he used to have.
When the search results came back based on the minimal info I had, It pulled up a recent address along with even a phone number. When I called the phone no., I heard the voice of what sounded like it may be my step-brother. I asked if Joseph(my biological dad) was there, and he said no but to try back after 5.
I haven't done anything with the info, But I found what I was wanting to have.

I think it all depends on what the warrant was for, or what the original court date was for. I dont think the warrant would show up but if you have already been to court, that might. And any convictions you might have all depend on the hospital, and the severity of the crime. Good luck!

can go to a police station to get a police check or an agents that do it for you. You can get it the next day. Police station takes alittle longer.
