i no that gameboy and game cube are backwards compatable with wii, but can you also use the ds games in the wii consule? theres some mario games i like in the ds but i want a wii, i'll mostly me playing mario games... any suggestions??

They do not go together yet, but I know in the future they will be able to be together. They are coming out with a DS channel were you can download demos of DS games before they come out on the DS.The only thing is that they will probable not have motion sensor controls just to let you know.

No, you can't play DS games on Wii. There are a fair amount of Mario titles out for the Wii, however. Super Mario Galaxy, Paper Mario, Mario Party, Mario Strikers Charged, etc, etc. There are also a wealth of Mario titles for download via the virtual console service. If you are solely a Mario fan, a Wii is the way to go.

No it's not compatible yet. There is only one game that connects to the Wii and the DS it's Pokemon Diamond and Pearl and Pokemon Battle Revolution. The only thing it does is copies your Pokemon onto Pokemon Battle Revolution game on the Wii. You can also play with your DS Vs. another DS in the same room but you get to see your Pokemon on TV.

no. i have a wii and i tried to put my DS game into the sd slot but it was too big and woul not fit. But im sure on the wii shop channel the will have DS games on virtual console. (they better anyway and if they dont ijm goin to kick some but

yes but u have to use the usb cord and you can use it as a controllerut nothing else
