I like them. This one guy was rude to me in New York and I busted out laughing because of his accent.

Every human has a regional accent of one kind or another, but some ears do not take kindly to the Noo Yawk style. Others find Propah English as spoken by pompous Brits somewhat jarring, DUHHHH-ling...
It's a very personal thing with many factors involved.
Personally, I am not fond of gutteral languages, such as German, which sound as though the speaker needs to clear her/his throat. On the other hand, an unusual turn of phrase makes me smile.
Although fairly proficient in the illogical English language, it is one of my least favorites, whereas I love Italian - spoken or sung - because of its amazing musical qualities and simplicity.

Are you kidding? The Boston accent is the best ever. Of course I'm biased because I'm French and when I did not speak English very good, I mean very well, I mean American very well, people from Boston were the only ones I could understand clearly. Really, I would be at a party, understand somebody and sure enough...they were from Boston.

heck no! I love diversity and enjoy different accents. Two of my best friends in nursing school have different accents.
Margarita was was from Texas and was Hispanic and jumped from Spanish to English frequently and assumed I understood her...... Jama was from Vermont : I was a Hillbilly from the Smokey mountains....... lol
Made for some head turning and lots of laughs.
We can all enjoy diversity. I think We are God's flower garden and that he enjoys different fragrances and colors like we do!
I enjoy diffrent accents........

Yes they are very annoying. Even though im in Maryland no one around where i live has an accent like that. Most people around here sound like country/rednecks....which i am fine with.

I'm from Rochester, NY. My dad and his siblings grew up in Staten Island.
They don't bother me at all.
(Rochester accents are different than NYC accents, but they're still NY accents.)
