The answer to your question is 1. Fats
The reason for this, is due to the high calorific value of fats in
relation to the other three choices.
If you look at the body as an engine which burns fuel, then it would be useful to compare it to a diesel engine vs a gasoline engine. Diesel engines are more efficient and produce more power because the fuel they burn has a higher calorific value than gasoline.
The ranking would be 1. 3. 2. 1

its carbohydrates. Even though fats have a larger calorific value they will not give out the entire energy at once because of the strong bonds in them. They got triple bonds. Carbohydrates on the other hand breakdown easily and fast and give out a lot of energy.

Protiens and vitamins give 0 energy, they just help by repairing/building cells and making everything run smoother, respectivaly. The net amount of energy would be greater from carbs because it takes energy to render fats usable.

fats. proteins have more than 8 function, the least function that I will say is storage. carbohydrates are starch, cellulose, lactose and maltose and so on.Vitamins are groups of compounds that work as buffers, not storage. Fats actually can store twice greater amount of energe than sacchrides. If you do not believe me, you can a have try, eat same amount of table suger, and fat!
