I'm thinking about becoming a Physical Therapist so before I make my final decision, I want to shadow a physical therapist.

I live on Telegraph Road in St. Louis, MO. I looked on yahoo and found this physical therapist. Has anyone ever been there?

I'm thinking about going there and asking them if I can shadow one of their physical therapists for a day/half a day after Christmas? Do you think they'll say yes?

Any other physical therapists you know of?

Where I work they have students shadow the physical therapist.
Just call and ask if they will let you. It is worth a shot. The only thing they can say is yes or no so you don't have anything to lose.
Good luck!!~~~~~~~~~~~~

Metrolink begins on the Airport and is going all of the means via downtown and into Illinois. I could sugget staying at a resort close the Airport or downtown. Most whatever inbetween isn't close a resort, or in a nasty vicinity. Downtown appear for a resort that's close Bush Stadium or the Scott Trade Center for there's a metrolink give up close there. The Adam's Mark is one, however highly-priced. I wish you experience your keep right here and get to do all of the a laugh matters we've got right here. Don't fail to remember Six Flags is simplest approximately forty five minutes to an hour away!

I would definitely call the local PT. I have had students request that they shadow me for a day and I have been willing to accommodate them within reason if they are not doing a full student internship with me. However, there are legal, privacy and insurance restrictions to consider. You must tell your clients/patients that this is a student who is observing and get their permission. The student must sign a confidentiality agreement and the university covers their liability. If you are not at a university, it is likely that they will do police and background check before you are allowed to be in contact with patients. I know this sounds really involved for just observing but there are so many lawsuits now a days that its becoming more difficult to be accommodating.
