I wish I had seen your 'fabric of the universe' question. Seeing questions about 'If you had one day to live" is getting a little tiresome.

[add] It takes a singular intellect to address questions of the 'universe' nature. If you look at the scholastic statistics for the past 25 years, I think you will see the correlation.

This is an entertainment forum.

Questions about cat-eat-dog are entertaining and 'light' while questions about the fabric of the universe are considered dull by a larger part of the yahoo-answer members.
Hence the reactions.

So you have realised the 'great thinkers of the world' are elsewhere (not reading/answering yahoo answers).

Try asking something 'controversial' (sex, religion, etc..) for a change, and you will get loads of 'answers' as well ...

LOL. Thanks for the laugh.
Even I would not answer the "fabric of the universe" question because lets face it , what do I know that. On the other handm the cats and dogs, well the are closer, and as a matter of fact, I have seen one or two of those, MAYBE I can hazard a guess.

Judging by your past questions, most probably figured you wouldn't understand the fabric of the universe, but would definitely understand a question that only requires words under four letters.

People aren't smart enough. And as for the "fabric" of the universe, wait until the Large Hadron Collider finds the Higgs-Boson.

The fabric of the Universe just split its pants, thats what the worlds coming to.

I mean c'mon, now that you can buy a box of frozen peanut butter and jelly sandwhichs at the store, so you wont have to do any work to pack your kids lunch. I think that says it all.

Same reason that Britney Spears and her little sister are headline breaking news and stories about compassion and good works are at the back of the newspaper.... if reported at all.

That and we, in general, are more interested in the idea of cats eating dogs than the nature of the Universe.

By the way.... What kind of cats were they? ;-)

Easy. People avoid looking at hard questions, because

1) They dont want to look ignorant

2) They are lazy

3) They don't want to know about the coming destruction, because it would mess up their life now.
