I just purchased a laptop to accompany my desktop computer. I decided to retire my wired Linksys router and replace it with a wireless-g Linksys router (WRT54G).
Anyway, I ran the CD that came with it and followed the installation wizard properly. I disconnected my old router as directed, and replaced it with the wireless router. For whatever reason, my desktop cannot find an internet connection when connected to the wireless. I havent even tried getting the laptop connected yet because I still cant get the desktop back online. When I unplug the wireless and plug the wired back in, it works and connects to the internet perfectly. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong here?
Thanks in advanced...

I figured it out myself. I called Linksys and they told me that I needed to take the Mac address from the old router and put it on the new router. I asked how I could do that and the idiot cusomter service rep told me that theyd have to charge me a fee to deal with the old router because it is "no longer valid in their warranty". So I hung up and messed with it myself.
I found the mac address thanks to the answers posted here, all you have to do is access your IP address via the browser and find all your info. So I copied the old Mac address to the new router's configuration and it worked.
Im pissed at Linksys for not telling me how to do this. They knew, and they knew it was simple... but they wanted more of my money. Next time Ill go with Netgear, this whole process was rediculous. Thanks for the help everyone!
