Yes, it is very annoying. There are lots of entries in the Yahoo!Answers Suggestion Board about that particular ad. Jane, a Staff Member, said they usually don't allow Ads with sound. Her comment was made almost 3 days ago and nothing has changed. Good thing there's not a Virus in that Ad if it takes that long to make a change and/or remove the ad. Geessshhhh.

This question has been asked a million times. Just right click on the speaker on the bottom right of your screen in the toolbar and click "open volume mixer" then find the one for the gap ad or yahoo and turn the volume all the way down. that way if your listening to music you dont have to completely turn off your speakers.

Someone else who's annoyed .. Was about to post the same thing....
People who are on here alot see that commercial too damn much and right now I gotta hear there talking under my streaming audio of rock... doesn't sound pretty... also when you open more tabs in IE 7 and have them talking in multiple.... damn... almost makes me want to register in another country to get away from that couple:-)

I hate that stupid ad.....That was a very stupid question to ask on here, don't you think? Are we getting annoyed by the GAP ad? heck YES we are. Everybody keeps asking us that. Don't get offended byh what I am saying, I just mean that we have had this question on here for over two months and everybody keeps asking it over and over! WE HATE IT WITH A PASSION!!

Someone sorta asked this one earlier. I never saw any Gap commercial but others are sure bothered by whoever those people are on there!
Is GAP that clothes store? or something else?
Don't laugh coz I haven't had my computer very long and I'm still learning the "basics" as it is.
tell me anyway what is so bad about that commercial you mentioned.

Here is how to get rid of it. Takes 5 seconds. go to:
Tools>Manage Add-ons, click, >Disable Shock Wave Flash.
