Who decided that to support abortion was a less Christain-like action than to support war or the death penalty? I think all of these actions are morally questionable, but I don't appreciate the fact that conservatives have made abortion the end-all issue for so-called Christians. Following their definition, if you want to prove yourself as a "real" Christian you have to support anti-abortion candidates, thereby accepting a mountain of other, equally morally-questionable policies, including death penalty, war, policies that deny equality or health or education to certain groups of people, and the destruction of the environment. When voting, we all make decisions about what we are willing to compromise in order to achieve the best outcome (NO candidate is perfect). It is absurd to characterize a person's religious identity based on his or her stance on one issue.

Liberals attack Huckabee for not practicing what he preaches, and having poor qualifications for the white house. He has no familiarity with foreign policy, has offered no opinions on Iraq, the deficit, or any domestic issues such as Social Security or Health Care.

When it comes to liberal-minded voters and religion, here's what I've seen: they're tired of politicians invoking God for merely political gain, as Bush has done his entire presidency. The separation of church and state extends all the way back to our forefathers (read: Treaty of Tripoli), and in recent years we've seen an erosion of this.

Furthermore, Huckabee's sons have been linked to some sinister case involving the strangling and killing of dogs. Very bizarre.

Along the lines of "non-christian actions", would you call the invasion and occupation of a country posing no immediate threat to be a christian issue?

I think the candidates attack whoever they feel has the upper hand on them at the time in whatever way they can. Hucka bee has attacked Romney on his faith also asking '"Isn't it true Mormons believe God and Satan are brothers ? " I don't think more or less of any of the candidates because they profess religion. We need a president with guts to defend our borders and protect us here, instead of giving our country away to illegal immigrants who will have more rights before long, than our own people who have paid their taxes and worked hard right here in this country unless something is done. This is ok. with the Dems who are aquiring votes from minorities/ immigrants, because they are giving them everything they ask for in return for their votes. I want a "good" change too, but No Dems for me this time !

Nobody SUPPORTS abortion . They support the right of a woman to CHOOSE abortion. I am a Christian woman who would never have an abortion, but in being a Christian I also know that I should not JUDGE OTHERS. Some of us realize that we can't force our own religion on others who have their own beliefs. That is what this great country is all about!

Yada, Yada, Yada. You're making up what you claim is the liberal position on Huckabee while ignoring that fact that most of the people who are pro choice are Christian. They also come in every political persuasion, including republican.

Apparently you neither checked your facts before you asked this question or where so consumed by your anti-liberal bias you like most GOP'ers like to try and rewrite the facts because you can't deal with the truth.

I'm a Christian and i'll attack Huckabee for the same reason.

I'm truly afraid of the fact that that man could become my president.

And personally, i'm pro-life.
And a democrat/liberal.

Bush is against killing unborn children, but why doesn't he care to kill innocent people in Iraq? Hmm, that one gets me.

God bless.

The one's attacking Huck, here on YA, are mostly Republicans. They don't like him because they think he's too soft. They'd would rather have Mitt (flip-flopper) Romney.

Right-wingers who enter politics, and many of them on yahoo, who consider themselves Christians, fail to understand the concept:
"he who is without sin, may cast the first stone."
