A 20 is ok for a baby. By the time it is an adult, it will need at least a 6 foot long enclosure or snake cage. Baby snakes stress in very large tanks, so it is better to start with an appropriate size and buy or build larger as it grows.

Sometimes, depending on who bred the animals they will like smaller more confined areas, it cause's less stress, but your right you will need a bigger tank for when its large, i just hate to see you spend all your money on a tank and then have problems withyour snake, but thats up to you. I would start smaller and go bigger as it grows. A 20 gallen tank is good for the first year or a 30 tops its only going to get 24-34 inches in the first year. Its your money spend it how you like, this is just advice.

I had a 70 gallon tank for mine. It was the same width of a 40 gallon tank but it was higher. it seemed to suffice just nice for my 4 ft boa. You would probably be fine with that size until 8-10 ft when you would probably have to upgrade.

Its purely a pastel colour of the breed. I truthfully have a 5 footer precisely like it. I sought the colour out via fact i think of evidently extra desirable than classic colorings. It has a tendency to be somewhat extra costly. in case you seem heavily it probably additionally has some peach coloring in the direction of the backside of the physique besides. each snake has a distinctive temperament yet frequently pink Tails have a tendency to be very gentle snakes. My woman has a great temperament.

I have a boa, and I have her in a boa phile (www.boaphile.com) Your going to spend a little over 200 for it, But they will last all their life.. you can also look at animal plastics (google it) they are cheaper, (I have one for my burmese python, and it rocks) At one point, glass and acrylic tanks arnt going to be able to support her weight, they are ment to have the weight distributed evenly, not just at one point. Plus its really easy for them to escape... Those mesh tops (even the heavy duty ones) can be pushed through... or even opened... even if you have cage clips... plus with glass its really hard to maintain proper heat and humidity (poop and urates stick to the calking in glass tanks too) Hope this helps!
