Banks are only closed when the Federal Reserve is closed. Banks by Federal Law are only allowed to remain closed for a 72 hour period. Most banks will close at 4:00 PM on Christmas Eve, and will be closed Christmas Day. Being Closed Christmas Day is not an option, what time they close Christmas Eve is set by the Bank location.

Merry Christmas

I'm sure most, if not all, banks will be open. There are legal requirements that don't allow them to be closed four days in a row--that's why they're open the day after Thanksgiving, for example.

Legally they can only be closed for 3 days in a row.
So they will be open. Although some branches may be closing early.
Give them a call
