wHEN YOU BUY TMAPONS THEY COME WITH INSTRUCTIONS. I USE THEM DURING THE DAY AND PADS AT NIGHT. THEY ARE INSERTED INTO THE VAGINA WHERE THE MENSTRAL FLOW COMES OUT. IT PLUGS IT UP SO TO SPEAK AND CATCHES THE BLOOD. YOU NEED TO CHANGE THEM EVERY 3-8 HOURS TO KEEP FROM BACTERIA BUILD-UP. SOUNDS LIKE YOU WANT TO MAYBE TRY THEM. BUT BEFORE YOU DO SO TALK TO YOUR MOM OR A TRUSTED WOMAN AND ASK THEM IF THEY CAN HELP YOU. IT CAN BE UNCOMFORTBALE YOUR FIRST COUPLE OF USAGE TIMES BUT YOU WILL EVENTUALLY GET USED TO IT AND NOT BE ABLE TO FEEL THEM. I FOUND THAT THEY WERE EASIER TO USE AFTER I BECAME SEXUALLY ACTIVE, SO YOU MAY WANT TO STICK TO PADS UNTIL THEN.

Well, in my household, apparently straight down the commode so I can spend my weekends with a roto-rooter trying to dig it out.
