Jose Reyes is just way too fast! Not saying Devin Hester isn't but Reyes would leave Hester in the dust.

Jose Reyes isnt even the fastest player on the Mets. As far as pure speed Carlos Gomez actually beats Reyes in the 70 yd dash everytime (according to Mets players). But i would have to say to simply answer your question that i think Jose Reyes would beat Devin Hester in a footrace, Hester isnt all abt speed (although he has plenty of it) its just his vision, explosiveness, and his ability to make cuts out of nowhere.

I don't know but Jose Reyes ran from home to second in like 6.6 seconds which is insane considering who have to round first and slow down to slide into second.

You have to remember that Hester has all his pads and junk on... I really don't know for sure though... Probably Reyes... His SB prowess isn't just due to speed though...
