I heard this rhythmatic clicking sound and looked to see my hand shaking (almost tapping). It stopped within 10 seconds.
The game says not to play if you have seizures. But my doctor said I don't have seizures. But everythime I play, (especially in the dark or when I am tired) this happens. Besides not playing Wii anymore.... what should I do? Could I have had some mini-seizure?

Ok here goes. My bro has seizures only on certain games. ( Narnia for xbox 1 was major) Like shaking hands, jerking legs and jumping up and down. But on halo 3 its just tapping his leg.
most other games he's fine. Some people move the controller, they think it helps them play. ( unless its the wii in your case, moving is part of it) Anyway try a different game. May help. If its resident evil or something it might be mental fear. If they persist call a different doctor, it may be worse than you think.

well, you need to determine for yourself if you are having a mini-seizure. if you are playing a frustrating game (the ones where you get really close and die right before you beat something) or playing something that is nerve racking, than it could just be adrenaline or frustration that is making your hands move. it sounds like it is possible from what you are saying but does it really seem like your muscles are contracting to you? i can not tell you if it is a true contraction due to the lack of detail so you will have to determine that for yourself. weather it is a mini seizure it is still important to see a doctor because it is a bad sign that could be the start of something bad (i doubt it though).

Yes, I have had mini-seizures in the past... and while I'm no doctor, what you describe sounds very much like my experience.

You didn't say how old you are, but you might want to talk to your doc again on this one... and obviously, DON'T stress your brain by playing when tired or in the dark.

Good luck!

My Dad invited his old college friend and his family and all the kids were playing the Wii, We all got into the game of tennis and I accidently hit on of our guest right in the eye, it started to swell up like a balloon, somehow I don't think they will be coming back anytime soon!! But it was still funny (and accidental) even though they didn't see the funny side of things

Wish I could help, but I am not a doctor. The only thing I can say is if you want to play just take it slow and build your self up. Like when you exercise. You can't just lift 500pound if you never exercise before. You have to start slow before you go big.

Did you ask your doctor if you have some kind of reaction with flashes or something. You might have some kind of reaction with visual stuff.
