how do you become a spin class instructor?

What does it take to be a spinning instructor at a health club.?
I am interested in teaching spin classes at my local health club. Do you need any specific type of certification to teach these classes? Are they paid or do they just waive your gym membership dues? Thanks to all who respond! Happy Holidays,

I think it depends on the place. Some places require some sort of certification or experience, while others will let their employees do it. Just ask at the fitness center, they will help you out.
