ok for all the girls who like girls, i hav a question. when u go out with a girl on a date, who pays? and like at prom/homecoming, when u dance, who puts their hands where? like who takes the guys job and puts her hands on the other girl's hips? i hav never dated a girl before, and i need to know what to do

When you go out on a date, whoever asked the other out will usually pay. If there's any question about it, you can say when you ask the other girl out -- "I'd like to take you out to dinner" or whatever so its clear that you're intending to pay. Although if neither one of you has much money, you could agree to go dutch.
When you're dancing, if you want to put your hands on her hips, do it. If she wants to put her hands on your hips and that's OK wtih you, then do that. Basically there are no rules, its a matter of who has the more assertive personality vs who is more passive. If you're both pretty assertive, then its a matter of who moves first :-) If you're both sort of shy, then one of you has to get up the courage to make the first move sometime if anything is going to happen between you :-)

I agree with most of these answers. You take turns paying, and when you dance, you just sorta wrap your arms around each other. And whichever one of you feels more dominate in the relationship is the one who is probably gonna wanna do and say the things a man would, but who needs a man? Ha! So, just share the love and be in equal control.

On a date, it is the same as with a guy...the one who asks pays..unless the two of you have made an arrangement ( I'll get the tickets, You get the popcorn )
When you dance, there is an awkward moment the first time,until you decide who leads....

well, it's not like you say well your the guy and i'm the girl that is kinda the reason your dateing a girl!!!!!! who ever pay's pay's dancing who ever get's to the hips frist ;) this is the 21st cen. dose it really matter who take's the bill at dinner you want a rule to follow who ever asks for the date pay's.

well that's a hard q but i guess............when i would go out with my girlfriend we would take turns but if its the first date who ever asked should pay. If your at a dance just put your hands where ever its comfortable its dosent really matter.

Why not play it by ear. See what happens, maybe one of you will naturally take the lead and maybe one of you will naturally follow. I wouldn't worry so much about "rules" per se as I would about how well you two get along...

you should take turns paying
usually, the more masculin girl will put her hands on the other girl's hip, but me and my gf like to take turns

why don't you take turns. see who likes doing what more. it's up to you really. no one can tell you you're doing anything wrong if the two of you are fine with whatever it is that you're doing.

well, who ever is more dominate... for example if one is like more tomboyish, but the other is more girly.... If they are pretty equal, well then it doesn't really matter, but ultimately someone will be a little more dominate..
