I am not a hardcore Vikings fan because I live in New England. But I will say this much. The Vikings remain as my number 2 football team. I was in a Marine Corp Squadron that had the Vikings insignia back in 1970. At that point in time I became a Vikings fan. And I still am. BUT! I am a Patriots fan first, Vikings second, for what its worth to you..
Incidentally, that squadron was at that time VMA-225. Check it out, it should be on the web.

Purple Pride is a myth. It only comes out if the Vikings can field a good team otherwise their home games get blacked out locally cause they can't sell enough tickets. Bye Vikes! Way to screw yourself out of a good draft pick.

You want to meet some hardcore fans? Look to the east. Over in the Green Bay area, I'd guess. Now, they're hard core.
