Hayden is a cute name.
I notice more and more people asking about this name.
It is one of those names that fits a boy or girl.
IF you don't mind that it is a unisex name and that it's a current trendy name... then..

I think it's a bit too trendy. (Kind of like Peyton... just too trendy.)
I like classic names. Cause you know what? In 30 years or so, there will be a new batch of trendy names and everyone will be able to guess her age by her name.
Just like women around 50 named Linda, Barbara, Carol...
Women around 35 named Jennifer, Laura (my name, and my age), Leslie....
Not that these are "bad" names, but they definitely date you.
I named my daughter Autumn, which I thought was different but not trendy. So, you don't have to stick with same old, same old (like Mary or Elizabeth), but I'd avoid Hannah, Kaley, Peyton, Hailey, Hayden, etc.

No. About 15 I know have named their new borns Aiden, Hayden, and Braden.
Way too common.

I personally love that name. It is just fine for a girl. Check to see if anyone in your family knows of anyone with that name...I chose Lyndsay for my daughters name and now everyone has it. Everyone tells me they like the spelling of my daughters. I always wanted an unusual name but pretty name. I also like BreAnne, Breanna, and Jordan. I think Hayden Lynn would be nice.
