I'm the same age as you, and I do let slide some of your basic, everyday swear words.
I have used the more powerful ones -- you know, the shockers - to emphasize my point at times, but never aimed specifically at my folks, of course.

I'm still alive so I never have. I don't know how old I am but my parents are 115 & 122.

Yes, but I try to keep it to a minimum. I seem to do it more often and more comfortably the older I get. I'm 25.

I do not swear in front of my mother. She really hates that, and since I respect her totally, I don't do it.

I'm 17 and I don't. When I let one slip I get scolded, but when it's obvious I'm substituting another word, my mom yells at me to just curse. It's weird.
