Swarvoski are my FAVORITE. They are 30% lead. The lead makes it sparkle a lot. I think it is really worth it, i had a beautiful swarvoski necklace for 45$, and i wore it for 1 year. I get a lot of compliments. Buy one!! =]

They're crystal but I've seen them on sale for very little money. I've also seen them marked up to extraordinary prices. You might consider looking on ebay or other places for jewelry. You can pick up some pretty good stones for very little rather than good glass. They also have auctions on ebay. I got a citrine ring for $40 that they would have asked hundreds for at the cheapie jewelry stores. Shop around. You can do better.
