I went on Amazon and saw the Samurai Champloo complete episode box set and want to buy it 4 a friend cuz he LOVES this show. Unfortunately Im not too familiar with anime. I know he wants the english episodes like the ones he watches on adult swim because I burned him a disc of the episodes I got off the internet but these were japanese with english subtitles and he said he hated reading instead of watching the show and I have never seen him use the disk I gave him. Also I am so scared to spend over a hundred dollars on something and it NOT be in English with NO SUBTITLES, my concern comes from Amazon's item description, where under languages it lists english, japanese, and dutch, so Im afraid the episodes are in japanese and you can select either english or dutch subtitles instead of it just being english dubbed. If anyone owns the complete box set please tell me are they in japanese? Also if anyone owns a set of the champloo series in English could you please tell me where to buy?

most all box sets (or even single anime dvds) in the U.S. come with the options of English, Japanese, or Japanses w/ English subs.

i can pretty much say it's a garentee that it'll have the english Dub; however, if you go to any F.Y.E.(For your intertainment) store they have all kinds of anime dvds.
also, Best Buy & Borders Bookstore has a ton of them too.
