well my name is Naomi , which is definitly not known. Or common. Or anything. So I wouldn't really know. But even though I cannot stand my name and I never have, its kinda nice to be a unique one in a crowd. You feel special, and I almost always get a compliment on my name. I don't really know why though, because I hate my name. And you know what else sucks? I didn't get picked on my name until middle school and during high school... because no one really understood it before that age. MY NAME SPELLED BACKWARDS IS IMOAN! LoL it's pretty funny actually.

Not really, no.
I feel very in touch with my identity, due to the combination of my first and last name, and the fact that I'm living a life that you would call anything but normal ...

My first name is Michael, which is probably the most common male name in this country and I have a ball with it. Whenever someone near me calls out "Michael". I respond. It makes for some very interesting conversations. After all, you tend to like someone who has similar tastes.

My name is Cynthia which is not a common name, but still well known. I've only known one other Cynthia and I wanted to kill her for having my name. LoL could you imagine if my name was something like Jennifer or Megan? Went to school with about 3 dozen of those!

No, but then again I guess this is all to do with celebrities naming their children weird and bizarre names.
For example, take Frank Zappa's children, Dweezil, Ahmet Rodan, Diva and Moon Unit.
