I think, if prostitution were to be legalized, it would have to be closely regulated. People should only be able to enter that profession by choice and after having completed a certain amount of training--in things like health issues, self-defense, safe sex practices, and so forth.
I wouldn't mind it being legalized under those conditions. The current custom of streetwalkers and sleazy motels, etc. is bad for everyone and dangerous.
Nope, I've never used a prostitute. After I read Spider Robinson's 'Lady Sally' books, I thought becoming one would be an interesting idea, but no real brothel is like that, so I never seriously considered the idea.

Definately, i think of as long as they are no longer forced into prostitution, aka slavery, then it would be criminal. women....(and adult males).... dance nude for money. it rather is their bodies in the event that they desire to sell their bodies for intercourse, then why no longer. Prostitution is going to happen regardless. If it became legalized then it would not must be an underground operation, as a result wellbeing assessments must be carried out to be sure they have no STD's and elementary experience would optimistically be triumphant that no one under 18 can do it without parental consent(what style of discern that should consent to this would not rather should be a discern) and fogeys would optimistically attempt to inspire their daughters to pursue extra useful careers and a extra useful way of existence, and extra profitable and so-on-and-so-forth. So if it became legalized it would be extra secure because of the fact of no STD's there would be records of all the females and who they're with so as that optimistically no one is going disappearing. hypothetical subject: "Hhmmm i'm no reliable at something and that i'm no longer able to save a role what ought to I try this I delight in? nicely I lllllove intercourse, i'm going to grow to be a prostitute"

With out a doubt YES!! Prostitution should be legalized! That way we can have properly licensed houses that employ prostitutes with health certificates (renewable every 3 months). It might just help stop the spread of stds.

Definitely. Why is it legal for a person to give away sex, but not sell it? Once in a while I might want to buy myself some *** sometime, and the only way I could do that legally is to either do a porn movie, or make a long *** drive to a state where it is legal. It should definitely be legal.

Legalized Prostitution and Gambling will drag us into the depths of a unethical hell like in Africa. Then again with capitalism, TV, and the Internet we are pretty much in that unethical hell I speak where people don't care about much more then their next fix of whatever floats their jolys. Sense we are so close to hell already so be it ... raise your pimp flags and bring on the hoes. Who needs quality and the good life when we can have disease and a lack of good virtues.

That is a question which should be decided at the local level. I see it being eliminated because of STDs. Nevada keeps it in the desert. Amsterdam recently cut back on it.

Yes. Some men are simply too repulsive to find a woman who would voluntarily show him affection.
Why should someone like that be denied intimate contact? It could be a disfigured veteran - shouldn't such a man be able to at least BUY himself a few moments of pleasure?

No, it spreads diseases and has the social cost of the possibility of giving an STD to someone that that person loves. He might not know he has an STD, and it is not fair to those people who had nothing to do with the hooker.

i think it should. in this country you are allowed to sell almost anything you want and have any kind of business, but you are required to have sex for free. if you want to sell your body it is yours to do with as you please so go ahead.
of course prostitution would have to be heavily regulated if it was legalized.
