Is there any way to make the the cracker snaps in Christmas Crackers that make them snap. I don't have time to buy them, and I want to have them by Christmas. I'm making my own. I'm also wondering if there is any alternative to "Cracker snaps" that can be easily made?

Oriental Trading has carried the snaps in the past but you won't get them in time for Xmas. If you have any cap gun caps those might work in a pinch

I believe they are sold in magic shops.Call to see if there are any in your area. For future info, to tuck away for next year, you can get them at this site.
