Here's the answer.

(100)^(-1/2) --> Write the problem.
1/(100)^(1/2) --> For any integer, a, a^-1=1/a.
1/sqrt(100) --> Definition of a fractional exponent.
1/10 Simplify the radical.

So the answer is 1/10.

100^-1/2 = 1/(100^1/2) = 1/10

So 10^-½ = 1/10.
