Link doesn't work.
Anyways, I would be concerned about one thing...which is the space between the bars. Sugar Gliders are quite small and may be able to squeeze through the bars. Be careful about that.

You can build a vertical cage out of window screen, which would be pretty good. Put a door in or have one side removeable.
Ferret cages won't hold a sugar glider any more than it'd hold a mouse. And it's not good to use aquariums, they get too hot and aren't big enough.

Hi Spence...here are some photos of typical sugar glider cages. They need to be at least 2' deep x 2' wide and a minimum of 3' high (4' would be best).
Here are some wonderful websites on glider care:

No. the bar space is too wide for a glider.
The smaller amount of space between the bars will be best or any cage made out of hardware cloth.

well the link is not working but i work with animals in school a ferret cage might work depends on what it looks like. sugar gliders are not like hampsters or ferrets or guniea pigs at all. they are very small, nocturnal and have a vicious bite. their cage sould have plenty of canopies greenery and platforms put their food on a different spot everytime they are fed. they like pinkies, mealworms, frozen fruit and vedgtables. ghange out the fruit every day or you will get fruit flys. also have like a hammock sugar gliders also like to be covered so put a towel ( dish towel ) in there also.
Hope I Helped

If the ferret is still using the cage then yes it will make interesting food for the ferret. Or remember that this is a very small and skinny creature so not if you want it to stay in the cage.

The site isn't working however the spacing in a ferret cage is much to big. they sapcing should be more like in a bird cage ( small bird like cockateil or parakeet.
