I heat my home with radiators, I have a problem with a leak coming from a bell shape part that is connected to a pipe...the water is coming for a hole that looks like a release opening..(I wonder if this hole was pluged and the plug gave way...not sure though)...on this bell shape part the word "strainer" is printed on it......there is also a 2nd bell shape part right next to the other one and the word "drain" is on this one.....and its not leaking.....can you give me some advise pls.......thank you

These are "bleeders" to let the air out of the radiators. One must be loose, try tightening it, don't over do it though. Wriggle it back and forth if it seems to tight, then try tightening it. Or, use a little WD=40 on it, soak it overnight.

most radiators ,work under persure, and they have rubber.
seals that tend to wear out over time, or rust
when was the last time you , bled your system?
normally once a year is fine, open up the rad ,and let it bled, till you see water only , this wil let any build up of air , in
the sytem get out , with out seeing it , i would guess the one
thats said drain means drain, and the latter is to turn it off/on
this is very hot water comeing from this heater so beware,
