Yep, sure did!
This 'meteorite/asteroid' has 1 in 75 chance of smacking into the 'Red Planet'.
Are you worried?
Personally, I am...
I'm worried about all of my tiny little green buddies there!
Merry Christmas!

It's 55 meters (160 feet) wide and should leave a 1.2 kilometre wide crater if it hits mars (1 our of 75 chances).
If it misses, it will do a "sling shot" manoeuver around the sun and come very close to Earth.
It's not big enough to be a danger to Earth, it would disintegrate in the atmosphere before it hit the ground.
... Still, it will be a nice "light show" if it does hit Mars!

Never mind Mars, check out the one that is going to fly by Earth on the same day!
Answer provided by Scientia yesterday on a similar question.
This is a true coincidence. 2007 TU24 is expected to make a close approach to Earth on 1/29/08.
2007 TU24 should never impact Earth. The closest it ever comes to Earth is 0.00125 which is about 1/2 the distance from the Earth to the Moon. On 1/29/07, 2007 TU24 will be at a distance of 0.0045 which would be about twice the distance from Earth to the Moon.
