depends on if you had them on your ipod library ya know when you open or when you connect your ipod to the computer the ipod console opens with all the music you had on it now if the music is just gone from you ipod an not the library the re sync it if its gone from both the your screwed happened to my sister once she spent over 175 on song which i told her not to i could gave them to her for free ................ this is just something for you to try hope it works try doing a system restore back a couple day before your music went poof..............

Just take off all the music oon itunes and the ipod, and then add them all again. Then connect the ipod again and all the music will go back.

You need to re-sink it with itunes or whatever you use unless the music erased off of your computer

if it is still on your computer then click on iTunes and then on the left side click Library then all of your music should come up on the screen you should be able to click the boxes beside the song names and put them back on your iPod.

im having the exact same problem!! how do we put it back from our ipods onto the library? cause if i sync it then i will lose my whole ipod. ughhh sucks doesnt it? check my question for answers too. good luck

are the songs still on your itunes? if so then plug your ipod back in and auto fill it to the right to the right playlist

Just plug it back into your computer and make sure all the selections are checked. Your ipod will be filled once again.

nope sorry
same thing happend to me
in itunes check the box that say manually update music--so it wont happen again
but you'll have to re-download all your music =(

you have to re-synch your ipod with the computer, but if you had stuff on there that wasn't on the computer, sucks to be you
