How strange! Nobody has ever asked that question before!!!!

(I was going to verbally abuse you, but I just read about your house. I am very sorry about that. I hope it turns out OK in the long run)

For that Polly123 person below - for the 10 thousandth time this year on Yahoo, the flag was supported by a horizontal strut.

Jeez, they spent billions of dollars on this project and 400,000 people, that took from 1961 to 1972, and you think they could not have thought of a way to keep the f... flag up.

That is so ignorant, that really it is quite funny in a way. Do you see how stupid you are for throwing that into this forum?

Just for the record, and for the umpteenth time - for it to be a hoax, you had to get it by all those in the Apollo program, all the Soviet space personnel (who would loved to have seen it fail), all the observatories monitoring the moon shots, and for 3 years and 6 moon landings.

For Ch... sake let's put this really really stupid hoax thing to bed now.

Yes. In fact, they put TWELVE men on the Moon in six different expeditions between 1969 and 1972. This is an historical fact, supported by thousands of pictures, hours of video, 800 kilograms of Moon rocks, and millions of witnesses, one of the best documented events in human history.

The only people who dispute this are a tiny group of conspiracy theorists, who are totally ignorant of science and incapable of evaluating evidence.

Because you give no reasons with your question, I'll give no explanation with my answer. Yes they did, six times.
